How to become a BSAC Premier Diving Centre

Premier Centres can train and certify all BSAC diver grades, including Advanced Diver and offer many Skill Development Courses. BSAC Advanced Instructor (AI) required as the Lead Instructor. The Advanced Instructor enables a higher level of instruction to be delivered.

Many Skill Development Courses can also be staged that can be provided by AIs.

There is a straightforward application process and as long as a Centre fulfils the criteria, they will be accredited very quickly.
Upon approval, the Centres will receive an induction pack, publicity material and support from the Centres Team at HQ, providing information enabling them to deliver BSAC courses easily.

For those Centres that don’t have a BSAC-qualified Advanced Instructor, the BSAC can stage special events at the Centre’s own premises to crossover assessed instructors certified by other diver training agencies, up to BSAC Advanced Instructor – tailored to suit their specific needs. Also staff instructors can cross over to OWI grade on the same event or attendance on a scheduled course to orient them to BSAC methodology.
