BSAC Technical Centre

Technical Centres are authorised to train Nitrox, Extended Range, Rebreather and other BSAC Technical diving courses. BSAC Instructor with appropriate Technical qualifications and/or attendance at a BSAC Technical Training Workshop is required.

Upon approval, the Centres will receive an induction pack, publicity material and support from the Centres Team at HQ, providing information enabling them to deliver BSAC courses easily.

For those Centres that don’t have a BSAC-qualified Instructor, the BSAC recognise assessed instructors certified by other diver training agencies without requiring them to be re-assessed. There is a process for crossing over to BSAC with attendance on a scheduled course to orient them to BSAC methodology, or alternatively special events can be staged at the Centre’s own premises – tailored to suit their specific needs.
